Best extraction results with maximum protection against fine dusts

The extraction units have a powerful, sound-insulated high-pressure fan and are equipped with automatic air volume regulation, automatic switch-off and filter change indicator. The D-LE 255/CAM series has the possibility of the detection device (CNC machine) to set the prescribed air volume flow and is used as extraction of dusts primarily, metal dust, mineral dust, plastic dust, plaster dust oxide ceramic and other ceramic dusts.

Volume flow control device
The air volume flow is controlled automatically. The air volume at the suction funnel is always the same, regardless of the degree of contamination of the filter medium. The extraction unit carries out a self-test at certain time intervals, at the same time as the air lines are sucked free. The height of the air volume can be adjusted depending on the type of capture device used (suction mouth) and its associated air volume and can be read off the display.
The volume flow control device not only monitors the air volume flow, but also the degree of soiling of the pre-filter and ultra-fine filter. The condition of the filter components as well as the drop in the extracted air volume flow at the detection device (extraction mouth) below the specified minimum value is indicated visually and acoustically.

Our model range D-LE 255 extraction units are basically equipped with a dual filter system.
The dust is collected in a large-volume, double-layer filter bag with a capacity of up to 10 kg, trapped in a mesh basket and stabilised, improving the maximum fill level that can be achieved and optimising suction performance at the workplace or appliance.
The filter bags can be tightly sealed when the grid basket is removed, thus enabling dust-free and easy disposal.
The large-area ultra-fine filter, which is installed downstream of the filter bag, captures even micro-dusts of 0.5µ grain size at a rate of 99.98 % and provides additional health protection.
The condition of the filter components as well as the drop in the extracted air volume at the suction funnel is indicated visually and acoustically.

Bidirectional communication – simply connect and extract


The interface provides intelligent bidirectional communication with your CAM unit. It enables messages to be processed and measures to be initiated accordingly, such as switching on and off, querying the filter status and the functional status of the extraction unit. Despite a full filter, the extraction continues to work until the current production step in the CNC is completed. The extraction system reports the filter status to the CNC machine and does not allow a further programme start.

Energy efficiency

The energy efficiency of our extraction systems is defined by a very high suction power with low power consumption. All units of the D-LE series are characterised in their design by enormously short air flows with minimal turbulence. The volume flow control device controls the extraction rate with significantly reduced energy consumption and ensures the user an extraction system with high performance at minimum operating costs.

Engine technology

Depending on the running times and size of your milling machines, Harnisch+Rieth offers you two different variants. For the smaller milling machines we recommend the D-LE 255 S/CAM with collector motor, for larger milling machines with long working intervals the D-LE 255 SB/CAM with brushless motor technology. The engine compartment is additionally equipped with sound insulation and ensures pleasant working conditions. Both extraction units guarantee enormous suction power and combine peace, health protection and cleanliness in your laboratory.

Mode

The following option for setting the extraction parameters is available for the D-LE 255 CAM series.
Automatic operating mode:
The extraction power can be operated and regulated in stages in both control variants “air volume (L/s) and ”air speed” (m/s). The air volume flow is automatically regulated and is always the same at the suction funnel, regardless of the degree of contamination of the filter medium.
